Even after JOGL 2.5.0, observed that on MacOS, the display still flickers between alternating frames so that one frame is OK and the next has a strange, very zoomed-up transform. It is likely due to something with setup of JOGL GLCanvas before rendering or something on MacOS that needs to be treated differently. This long standing bug is the main reason jAER is not really very usable on MacOS.
The good news is that the install4j installer correctly installs jAER on MacOS (after allowing unsigned .dmg install) and starts up correctly. It can play DVS128 recordings, albeit with the rendering bug.
