Thanks for adding the discussion area.

I have quite a large retro computer/console collection. And as such spread myself far too thin, usually following hardware projects instead of actually playing much :)

I think I came across Arcade Controls.com years ago regarding the Kade arcade Controls microcontroller. I guess I got the info and did not register.

I've got loads of CRTs so I was going to use a RPi and actual GCon2(I have Pi2SCART), but seems hit and miss getting drivers to work.
So then I tried the Wii mote route, but it seems a bit slow on reacting.
Then I came across Samco and Gun4IR. Then your project popped up :)
I got a GCon 1 and 2 cheap just for IR projects.
As with a lot of RPi stuff there is quite a bit of fiddling about, so just trying to find the time between life. Saving the Calibration settings does not seem to be working for me, but when I have more time I will look at more detail at it. Trying to get an RPi lightgun image working but having issues like boots on my RPi400 but not on my RPi4! And the SD card partitions are not easily allowing me to increase partition size.
