I need to be able to stop the speech during some events. Is it possible?

Sure, whole I'm at it, is there any other feature missing? (I can then submit one pull request to ionic with multiple features)

For this moment no. I was trying to stop the speech audio when the user press the Voice to Text button.

The basic concept is ready but for some reason, the AudioPlayer.stop() doesn't get invoked either fast enough or on right stream/thread. Need to investigate further

update, the topic has been on hold for a while with no additional progress. Will pick it up over the weekend
