WHOM WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a freelancer to develop, optimise and debug the firmware (written in Node.js) on the Raspberry Pi.

We're interested in a long-term project relationship with the firmware engineer, who will have the opportunity to work at the intersection of medicine and technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Understand firmware architecture, logic and use cases

  2. Conduct testing and evaluation of the existing firmware

  3. Hands-on hardware bringup, system debugging and code optimization

  4. Make performance, stability and optimization trade-offs to meet product requirements

  5. Collaborate with software team to implement features

  6. Implement proper build versioning and documentation

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Good working knowledge and coding with Node.js is mandatory

  2. Prior experience working on projects involving RPi.

  3. Linux kernel/platform SW experience, experience with RTOS embedded systems is a plus

  4. Comfortable with working around various EE components. e.g. PCB design, schematics, connectivity diagrams, BOM generation, simple soldering work [Good to have]

  2. Good communication skills

  3. Employs consistent and organised documentation, versioning, and testing protocols
