Using unmodified squirrels rom with default settings for CFRU. Everything seems to be working great except the start menu. When the menu loads it's takes about 10 seconds to move up and down per item in the menu. Also it takes another 10 seconds to enter a menu item. Everything else works normally.

Confirmed it only happens after changing the L/R option

Confirmed. Also the hint bar down at the Start Menu is hidden/ disappears, when change the Button Mode from 'Help' to 'LR or L=A'
