Could you support the M117 gcode command to display message on the printer screen?
This is typically useful for Cura scripts to feedback information to the user.
Kind regards,
Olivier

Hi obertini78.

We are not goting to support M117 as it need a LCD controller and J1 do not have it. In face J1 got a UI build from android platform.

I would not consider the closing answer as correct. There already must be a way to display messages on the Android screen that stem from the controller board, since it does 😁 . It should not be that difficult to use it to also pop up messages generated by the M117 Gcode.

Hi Miq1. Thank for your commention.
Yes, it is technically possible. We will fully consider the benefits and coding costs of this feature, and then make a decision.

This would be useful. I'd like an indication somewhere to tell me what layer is being printed, so I know if the job is getting near a point where I need to change filament. If the android screen is unworkable I'd be happy if it appeared onLuban's workspace console.
