<p>Hi! My name is Stephen, I am an Electrical Engineering graduate from the University of Toronto looking to dive into the world of Web Development. I am currently enrolled in Bitmaker's Web Development Immersive program which ends mid November</p>

<h2>Hardware Engineer (FPGA)</h2>
<p>From June 2016 until August 2018 I worked as a Hardware Engineer at Microsemi SoC as part of the Radiation Team</p>
<p>The team was focused on Reliability testing as well as R&D to support internal studies and customer requests</p>
<p>My responsibilities included the following</p>
<ul>
<li>Planning and execution of radiation test campaigns to provide data for design teams, customers and radiation conferences and publications</li>
<li>Generate Verilog designs to capture radiation induced effects on high reliability FPGAs</li>
<li>Supervise and mentor students during their internships with a focus on systems design</li>
</ul>

<h2>Systems Test and Validation Engineer </h2>
<p>From September 2015 until may 2016 I worked at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) as a Validation Engineer</p>
<p>The teams major focus was feature stress testing on AMDs upcoming Graphics Cards. The cards were run through a series of benchmark tests which were used to stress the capabilities of the card to identify points of failure due to computations, hardware related issues and other corner cases where certain driver capabilities would fail</p>
<p>My responsibilities included the following</p>
<ul>
<li>Execution and documentation of Feature stress testing</li>
<li>Automation of the testing process to improve efficiency of setup and documentation</li>

<h2>Radiation Group Intern </h2>
<p>As part of the University of Toronto's Professional Experience Year program, I worked from July 2013 till August 2014 at Microemi SoC as an Intern for the radiation group</p>
<p>My responsibilities included the following</p>
<ul>
<li>Develop and maintain Java applications to collect testing data by interfacing with various lab equipment components</li>
<li>Performed significant hardware debugging to maintain testing infrasturcture</li>
<li>Assist with the execution of radiation tests and data analysis</li>
</ul>
