As title says.

When you split a subtitle (in Spectrogram) it splits the text in the selected subtitle as well.
Would love to know if it is possible to make the subtitles not split as an option
The result would be, that upon splitting, both subtitles would have the same text

Reason:
I usually split subtitles, because its an easy way to add another subtitle right at the same spot for formatting purposes. (karaoke text as an example), so this would be a nice QoL change since i dont have to copy and paste the original subtitle into every splitted subtitle.

Current release:

This is a text subtitle, it is long because there are a lot of words
(turns into)
This is a text subtitle, it is long
because there are a lot of words

My suggestion:

This is a text subtitle, it is long because there are a lot of words
(turns into)

Note that SE also has a duplicate shortcut:

That duplicate line option is kinda the thing im looking for, however, i still have to adjust its starting position and length. (instead of the split, cutting my subtitle into half and both still having the same text)

i think a good example would be this
grafik
I had to split the original subtitle a bunch for this "karaoke" like style, where every time it also cut the text, which makes it a bit more tedious (but not the end of the world)

Karaoke and other ASS effects would benefit from "slicing" the current subtitle in multiple subtitles, while maintaining the total start and end and it would have the same text for all of them.

<------------> total time 1 subtitle
<--|--|--|--|--> total time same, but now it's composed of 5 subtitles that have same text

It would have to have a dialogue, that asks in how many pieces you want to slice it. (And then based on that it would decide how long each slice will be)
