What happened?

.ckpt files are recognized in the custom models folder but .safetensors files are not.

Are they not supported or is there some step I must take for it to work?

I am on Linux and installed through the methods recommended here

Same issue. It does not recognize .safetensors files. Also how to load Loras, textual-inversions or vae?

We do not currently support the .safetensor file format, LORA or vaes, for textual inversion there is a way to use them but its not the ideal way, to do so you can check the concept library, as long as you make a folder inside the concepts library and put there some images, the file for the token and the textual inversion file you should be able to use them as any other concept from the concept library, check how other concepts work first. I plan to do a full rewrite of the whole UI and backend probably soon and then I will try to add proper support for these things as a lot of people use them and we will need them as well since I am training a model which is not based on Stable Diffusion but uses a VAE or several of them on the architecture and I think we will be seeing users wanting to use their own VAEs for it.
