SabNZBD not working #1286
Comments
On the second start, SAB listens to 127.0.0.1 instead of the actual IP or 0.0.0.0. You probably set So, remove and reinstall the package, and keep everything default, other than adding the newsserver. All the other stuff that's not mandatory, you can change afterwards in the settings. As for the |
Ok so wow so that actually worked. I also updated DSM to 4528 in the restart. Thanks @Dr-Bean |
Well, great :) Let's close this then. |
Hey all,
I can't seem to get SabNZBD to work anymore. I've had a read through the issues from a couple of years ago in #282 , #63 & #63 and tried lots of these suggestions above and here: #63, but can't actually use sabnzbd
My Synology was sitting in storage for a few months while I was traveling. When I fired it back up and after it had updated itself. I realised that SabNZBD wasn't running and I couldn't start it. I kept getting the "Package failed to run"
So I uninstalled both sabnzbd & python, deleted any sabnzb folders/files, restarted the DS and then reinstalled both, restarted again. I managed to get it to run the wizard :) . However when I clicked the link to start SabNZBD I just got "web page not available" this using httP://:8080
In the SabNZBD wizard I did NOT enable https.
I have opened 8080 on both my router and the DS
According to the package center sabnzb is running and I have run "/var/packages/sabnzbd/scripts/start-stop-status start" it returns that sabnzbd is already running.
Sabnzbd: 0.7.18-10
Python: 2.7.8-10
Synology: DS412+
DSM: 5.0-4493 Update 5
Log is here: http://pastebin.ca/2864004
Can anyone please help?
Also I'm a bit of a noob so while I've read through the threads above I probably haven't fully understood them.
