We currently have some text around DID deactivation.

We could provide guidance such as updating the alsoKnownAs or controller field to be the 'next' DID that you've rotated to.

  1. Add a rotation proof to the new DID, signed by the old
    • new field in the doc?
  2. No need to republish old DID
  3. Can still deactivate
