I was wondering if you would like to share links with some of my projects on photodetectors?
For designing and modeling op-amp based transimpedance detectors I made some python scripts called TIASim https://github.com/aewallin/TIASim
I have compared dark noise, shot noise, and frequency response for some of our designs.
If similar data is available for your detector I would be happy to add this to TIASim as an example. Note that we use 'sample' detector-mode on a spectrum-analyzer to get data for fitting.
thanks for getting in touch and your interest in our designs. TIASim looks like a very interesting tool and these photodiode design look really sleek. I really like those coin sized photodiodes.
I am certainly interested to help you with some data. I will have to go through the raw data recorded by Tilman for his thesis. To check what we have. Hopefully, I can find some time on Friday to do that.

For PDH locks to cavities we are now using an OPA818 based 2-stage design. Our bandwidth requirement is not as high as the EOMs run at 25 MHz typically.

I've also made a smaller one-inch detector design here https://github.com/aewallin/One-Inch-Photodetector
buffering the output with BUF602 seemed to help a lot with reaching the design/model frequency response.
