Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe it

I don't know if it is possible to see timestamps and chapters within the downloaded videos. If not, there should be sn option to download all video information within app and make Newpipe a media player for other media files in the device as well.

Additional context

How will you/everyone benefit from this feature?

I wish to see Newpipe as an allrounder app as it already has an intuitive and simple UI‌ and it should be also useful for downloaded files.

This has been requested many times by the users but the devs ain't bugging . Hopefully it gets implemented

he has added a local player for downloaded videos (although it still in beta for testing)... maybe you should share your idea with him... and maybe lend a hand ..

I was going to ask for this feature
I need to watch my recorded uni courses with fast forward silence feature, but uploading them on YouTube and watching is taking too much time even if my internet connection was good
Isn't there any response or implications yet?

JustPlayer got skip-silence implemented recently so I officially don't care any-longer, it's not as good [doesn't fast-forward just cuts] but it's good enough for me.
Hopefully will be improved over time.
