I suggest a feature where users receive a notification when a new song is played. This way, users can conveniently access the lyrics by opening the notification area and tap on the FastLyrics notification to open the app.
It would be nice if the notification showed info about the song being played, that is song's name and artist.
To prevent the notification area from getting cluttered with numerous notifications, it would be preferable to have only one notification. For example, I know many apps that employ a single persistent notification that updates its information rather than creating additional notifications; so, FastLyrics' notification would update with new info as soon as the song being played changes.
As an alternative, the app could remove the old notification and send a new one containing info about the new currently playing song.

Do you mean a notification containing lyrics of the song? Normally if you listen to music on an Android device there should already be a "notification" of sort with title and artist etc from your music player.
No.
I mean something like the Musixmatch notification shown in the screenshot below. So that when I tap on it while listening to the song, FastLyrics will open and show the lyrics of the song I'm listening to.
