The Teiid sequencers were originally written with the understanding that they would play nicely with other sequencers and common sequencer-related code. When the sequencers were moved out of the ModeShape repository and into their own repository (teiid-modeshape), quite a bit of code became unneeded and is making it less understandable then it could be. It would be a good idea moving forward to remove and refactor if needed, the Teiid sequencers to address this issue.
