Appimages for newer releases

Hi tnrich and other Teselagen peeps,

Wondering if it is possible/relatively easy with your build systems to still include Appimages in your newer OVE releases for those (dozens!) of us on a non-deb Linux flavour?

No worries if not, might be the kick I need to sit down and learn how to write a PKGBUILD once and for all.
