Is Parser.read() dead and broken?

I've noticed that Parser.read() doesn't seem to work. It doesn't produce data. It looks like it's not used for anything, so it's not really an issue (aside from the maintenance burden).

Also, the test seems to test read1() instead of read(): https://github.com/Textualize/textual/blob/main/tests/test_parser.py#L39
