Pin code style input extension or alternatives

I am in the process of building my first complete textual based app, and I was thinking of providing an "admin" mode where the user can enter a pin code to access a few screens to configure app level settings.

My thought was to use a OTP style pin code widget that one might find on a mobile or web app, where the cursor moves onto the next box as the user enters the code (which would make it work well with touch interfaces, limited keyboards, etc).

Before I head into rolling my own solution for this, I was wondering if anyone is aware of an extension that provides this widget?

If not, then is there anyone else out there that might be interested in this, I'd be more than happy to open source it and contribute to the ecosystem.
