A PDF export, based on an XSL transformation, would allow taking the collection everywhere on a mobile phone or laptop, offline.

Jasper, OpenPDF and https://github.com/eKoopmans/html2pdf.js could also be considered.

To be honest, it's a question of effort. I'm familiar with FOP so I know it's possible that way, but I will give OpenPDF a look as well :)
