Issue Summary

I was trying to figure out how the redstone conduits from EnderIO and their filters worked. I used the zeta wrench to create a connection between a lone redstone conduit and a steel crate. Afterwards, I right-clicked the connection and placed a sensor filter on the filter slot.
The screen immediately turned dark grey/gray and within one or two seconds the dirt texture background appeared with a message in the center of the screen saying "Server closed.". I exited and found myserlf looking at the multiplayer menu dispite playing in a singleplayer world (I know this is a vanilla thing).
I tried to reenter the world and was met with a message from Not Enough Crashes saying the game crashed but could still play thanks to the mod. This happened during the "Loading world..." fase when it was at 100%.

Here's the crash report generated at the time the server closed:

And here's the one Not Enough Crashes linked me after trying to reenter the world:
crash-2025-01-11_21.17.51-server.txt

After a bit of testing it seems to happen with any gregtech machine, not just the steel crate.

Reproduction steps

  1. Place a redstone conduit next to a gregtech machine.
  2. Use the zeta wrench to make a connection between them.
  3. Right-click the connection to open the gui.
  4. Place a filter in the filter slot.
The screen turns dark grey/gray and a moment later it switchs to the dirt texture background with a message saying "Server closed.".

I am experiencing the same issue, except I cannot load the bugged save at all. I can provide a copy of a bugged save if needed.
