Minigunner in bunker can't shoot at helix behind oil derrick

I had a minigunner in a bunker and tried to shoot a helix behind an oil derrick. I couldn't target it despite it being in range. I think there's LOS checks where it wasn't applicable.

The cursor isn't captured by the screenshot unfortunately. the minigunner outside the building can target the helix, the one inside cannot.

Needs more info. Perhaps the unit in the bunker can not attack air units out of ground range?
