Hackathon Portal

Welcome to the Hackathon Portal repository! This repository contains the codebase for an innovative hackathon portal developed by Kavinkumar and Monish.

Overview

The Hackathon Portal is a powerful web application designed to streamline the hackathon experience. With seamless user registration, customizable problem statement registration, and an admin panel for data management, this portal aims to enhance collaboration, innovation, and creativity among participants.

Features

User Registration: Participants can easily register and create personalized profiles, providing all the necessary details required for a seamless registration process.
Team Formation: Collaboration is key in a hackathon. The portal allows users to form teams of up to five members from the pool of registered participants.
Problem Statement Registration: Participants can register for specific problem statements uploaded by the admin panel. The registration process is customizable to cater to unique challenge requirements. Admin Panel: Administrators have access to a comprehensive admin panel that provides valuable data insights, visualizations, and the ability to manage hackathon activities.
Abstract Review and Approval: The portal incorporates a robust abstract review and approval system, ensuring the quality and relevance of submissions.

Installation

To run the Hackathon Portal locally, follow these steps:

Clone this repository: git clone https://github.com/Theternos/Event-Registraion-Portal.git
Move the folder "Event-Registration-Portal" (cd Event-Registration-Portal) to www in WAMP or htdocs in XAMP
Set up a MySQL database and configure the connection details in ./config.py .
Run the application for mail automation: ./python mail.py
Access the portal in your web browser at http://localhost/Event-Registration-Portal
