I am experiencing an "out of resolution" issue with the system I am using. We are running version 6.2 and using a DVI-to-VGA adapter to transmit the display. The processor model of the machine in question is "Dual Core AMD G-Series T48E", and it has AMD Graphics written on it.

Here is the build.conf I am using:

build.conf.txt

And here is the thinstation.conf.buildtime I am using:

thinstation.conf.buildtime.txt

This "out of resolution" issue has become an unbearable burden for me, and no one understands the pain I am going through. Please help me. Otherwise, I will have to give up either my job or my soul.

Thank you for your help
best regards

USE_XRANDR=TRUE
XRANDR_OPTIONS="-s 1680x1050" or whatever resolution you want to force.

I would skip these lines.

-- Advanced Options - Experts Only

X_DRIVER_NAME="amdgpu" # Driver is set to mga, change if required
X_DRIVER_BUSID="PCI:0:1:1" # Replace with your PCI BusID if needed
X_DRIVER_OPTION1="DRI On"
X_MONITOR_OPTION1="TargetRefresh 60"
X_MONITOR_MODELINE='"1366x768" 85.50 1366 1436 1579 1792 768 771 774 798 -HSync +VSync'

That kind of stuff hasn't been needed for quite some time. It's also really difficult to get right.
use xrandr instead
