For performance reasons....I'm not sure putting a log viewer in this app is a good idea. My idea is as follows.

Have a panel that lists all log files and you can open each of them in an external editor by selecting.

Perhaps to the right of that. Have a button to load the last 100 lines of the latest log file. There could be a filewatcher that notifies when the file has changed so you can elect to the load the latest 100 lines again.

Here is my rationale. For realtime log watching the user should just watch the console window. To view previous log files it should be done in an external editor that has been designed to view large files.

I suggest you keep this simple. Just a button to open the current log and another to open the log folder is good enough for 1.0!
