Some third party tools like postsharp heavily relies on conventions. Many occations when we try to inherit from EntityBase which has an implementation of INotifyPropertyChanged most of the third party tooling follows the same convention.
It would be a welcome change.

That's interesting. Yeah, the client-side change tracking relies on INotifyPropertyChanged. Not familiar enough with PostSharp to know how this poses a conflict.
