I wanna connect to a p2p community overlay through a socks5 proxy ( not directly).
is there an argument to set this option ??

The short answer is: no, not in IPv8.

However, this functionality does exist in Tribler. If you want to see how we did it there, you can look at the files in this folder: https://github.com/Tribler/tribler/tree/v8.0.7/src/tribler/core/socks5 This still requires some programming though: it is not a matter of simply enabling some argument.
