The wiring situation at the Bruker is, in short, not good. It's a mess and it takes me, let alone anyone else who happens to stumble into this unfortunate pile of wires, a fair bit of time and effort tracing around different cables to BNC channels or rewiring stuff. The camera is similarly in trouble with wiring and docs for it. I need to update all that, so this issue is to document progress towards it.

Given #139 this is an even higher priority.
