Move the Values to a builder pattern #21

I was thinking about this the other day but the Value class holding the previous configured values can get a bit confusing to some.
Would it make sense instead for Value to always be independent but use a Builder that can keep that baseline data.

Would break backwards compatibilty but might be worth it?
