  • Develop Singularity definition file for use of HPC

  • Some HPC systems restrict use of docker and you cannot pull them image from docker hub
• Will the proposed feature be backward compatible?
  • Yes
• Will the proposed feature change the science results of VIC?
  • No but it will allow for more effective use of VIC in supercomputing environments

Wanted to follow up on this.

I see in VIC/tests/profiling/run_gprof.bash there appear to be PBS scheduling scripts for other HPCMP resources.

I am working with the ERDC DSRC help desk trying to get a VIC container configured for Onyx (the replacement for topaz). I saw this blog post showing some profiling results from topaz.

Can you share an info about how VIC environment was configured on topaz?
