I've been trying to run ORB-SLAM3 in monocular mode using my Logitech C920 webcam, but I haven't been able to replicate the results shown in various YouTube videos and GitHub repositories. Despite following multiple setups, I still face major issues.
Issues Faced:
Inconsistent Webcam Functionality:
Sometimes the camera feed starts after a long delay.
Other times, it refuses to start entirely.
Unstable Performance:
When the feed does start, ORB-SLAM3 works for a short while.
After some time, the feed stops responding to movement, as if the algorithm has frozen.
Crashes & Errors:
At times, the program crashes randomly.
Other times, it stalls indefinitely before ORB-SLAM3 can begin tracking.
I'd appreciate any guidance, tutorials, or troubleshooting steps to help me finally get this working reliably.
