Keep in mind you will still have to go through curl https://alx.sh | sh and choose the m1n1+ u-boot uefi only option to get a boot environment that supports USB booting.
There unfortunately is no way to boot from USB without installing anything on your actual disk.
@tobhe Which U-BOOT command(s) should I run to boot from USB?
I have your pre-built image on USB and Ubuntu Asahi on my Macbook. I tried run bootcmd_usb0 which is mentioned in issue 26, and the instructions from David Alger, but none of them work. (Error: "bootcmd_usb0" not defined)
Is it possible to boot AsahiLinux or UbuntuLinux direct from USB as a LIVE USB boot iso?
Many of us I think would like to boot LIVE ISO's or full persistent Linux installs direct from USB.
We don't want to touch the internal drive, other than perhaps just to tell internal m2 "U-Boot" to load/boot from USB.
Is this possible? If so, any links on how to do it?
