I'm trying to send some new people to these issue pages as a starting point - is it possible to get a little more of a description on this? I can't say I understand the topic enough to advise anyone who wants to take this one.

Originally, the plan was that we'd have a separate page with information about where to find food and shelter in different countries (like the current border-information page). This data would be scraped from various sources, then we could fetch it from the same API we get the other scraped data from.

As far as I'm aware, this backend work was never done though, so this is something that would need to be coordinated with the scraper team first.
