ender 3 v2 running klipper

Reproduction steps

opened cura to slice a print and when i try to go and pull a file from downloads it only gives me files from over a year ago and when i click on any other areas in the file explorer it comes up saying not responding.

Actual results

cura says not responding and does not work and only lets me close the program

Expected results

cura crashes

Thanks for the report.
I'm also running 5.9.0 and Win10Pro. I haven't seen this problem.

Cura does all file handling through the operating system. Things like the "File Opening" dialog simply ask the operating system (Windows in this case) to show the files. Same when saving a file, everything simply gets passed to the operating system.
I get the "not responding" message (which is from Windows) when I try to access another computer on my network if that computer happens to be off, or asleep. Cura appears to be locked up, but if I wait a bit and then hit the "Cancel" button on the File Open dialog, the box will dismiss leaving Cura and an empty build plate. Accessing additional drives connected to my laptop always works.

After Cura crashes - go to the "Configuration Folder" and zip the "Cura.log" file and post the zip folder here. Maybe the log file caught something and noted it.
