Hello, I know this is hella necro, but currently I am working on the Invasions mod in order to port it to 1.15 (and presumably 1.16) but it looks like I have to give it a complete rewrite. I currently am stuck on the entities path-finding code whose vanilla counterpart has been altered completely and wanted to ask whether you can tell me a bit about how the mod's entities did their path-finding and why you implemented it in that certain way.

Hey Dolphin, do you still have any interest in this project? I've been working on it using AI and I think I've gotten pathfinding working. However, I'm building mine primarily for 1.12.2 (there was an existing version, but it had lots of issues, including pathfinding).
