Some games when started will give a Steam prompt one what version to launch. For example, when starting up Thumper, I get a prompt like this:
image

When using the steam client directly, all is good. When using a shortcut or a command the launch the game (steam steam://rungameid/356400 in the command line for Thumper) there is no prompt, and it seems the default/top option is automatically chosen. This makes it quite difficult to launch Thumper from the VR headset.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Install a game with multiple launch options.
  2. Attempt to run that game using a shortcut.
