See if it's possible to support args, but kwargs might be easier/better DX.

Add a setting to allow/disallow args:

  • if allowed, all kwargs should be optional
  • otherwise, kwargs should be optional depending on the parser

Should also look at subparsers. For reference: https://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/30584
