Dev interest in using Handwriting Recognition API #21
Comments
Hi, I have an idea of a simple game using this API. I'd like to try it out. |
I think this could be really useful in the education scene for web apps. I used to work as a maths teacher so I could see this being useful in that context eg solving equations, online homework etc. |
We, GoodNotes, are interested in implementing this API in one of our products 😄 |
It could be awesome if we can use it for the GoodNotes @wacky6. Adding chrome support for this would massively improve the note-taking app UX, because if we don't run the HWR model from the browser we would need to fetch the model and run it from the client (this has an impact on users' network usage as well) or run it on our servers (we will need an internet connection to use HWR then) and wait until the check is done. This feature would massively a lot of apps and will help a lot of users as well 😃 |
implement this api in chrome flags page so that it is simple to use and used for google classroom as checker of the assignment not to be copied from other student |
I am a teacher and develop webapps for educational purposes. I second the idea that this API would be very useful in the education sector. |
I am a web dev and I want to build a math equations app using something like this. I'd be very much interested in contributing. |
Hi web developers,
We would like to gauge interest in using this new Handwriting Recognition API, as described in the explainer
If you are interested in potentially using this new API, please reply to this thread, including your affiliation to a company or organisation or app, if any.
Thanks!
