When invoking self update it seems to clear the terminal on each output so scrolling back up your terminal after an update shows a lot of whitespace.
I feel that it could all happily be displayed without clearing the terminal at all.

I could look at this if its still an issue, but you can run it (as of december) with the -y flag and it wont clear your terminal? #72
