Describe the problem

Categories are a nice feature to structure a project with a lot of components. But they have no use for limiting permissions to a team. Each component has to be added individually.

Describe the solution you would like

Allow teams to be be configured by category the same way language and component (and components lists) work.

Describe alternatives you have considered

Component lists can be used, see #12160 (comment) but they are a site-wide feature.

This issue has been put aside. It is currently unclear if it will ever be implemented as it seems to cover too narrow of a use case or doesn't seem to fit into Weblate.

Please try to clarify the use case or consider proposing something more generic to make it useful to more users.
