Variable and uncommon width integers

If I am not mistaken there is currently no way to make a u40 or u56 variable except with a bitfield: bitfield u40 { v : 40; };

1. Could these types (and u72, u80 ... u120) be added?
2. Would an array syntax style variable width integer be possible?

unsigned variable[5]; // u40
unsigned variable[8]; // u64
unsigned variable[length]; // variable
signed variable[7]; // s56
signed variable[15]; // s120

Hey! There's indeed no way to do it without bitfields but there's a way to emulate the built-in types pretty damn closely:

fn transform_value(ref auto value) {
    return value.value;
};

bitfield u<auto Size> {
    unsigned value : Size;
} [[sealed, format("transform_value"), transform("transform_value")]];

bitfield s<auto Size> {
    signed value : Size;
} [[sealed, format("transform_value"), transform("transform_value")]];


using u72 = u<72>;

u72 test @ 0x00;

Might consider adding that to the standard library
