Cannot hear modified female hurt sound on servers

I modified the sound effects of the mod (only the sound file)

It worked for me when I tried it. I uploaded it to my server for me and my friends to test it.

He also has the modified mod on his client, which also worked for him.

He damaged me but he didn't hear anything, when I damaged him, I also didn't hear anything. We could still hear our own hurt sound effect, but we couldn't hear eachother's

Is there a different file for the server-sided mod? Or is it the same as the client-side file? (I don't know what I'm saying)

You can't hear each other modified sounds, because those are installed client side.
