In Function Layer sdk returns HID of same key in Main Layer

When I press Fn + key I'd expect to get the HID of that key in the Function Layer. Instead I get the HID of the Main Layer. If on the main layer no action is mapped to the key, I don't get any value.

This would be a firmware issue, but I can't reproduce this, so it may have been fixed in the years since this was reported. For reference, I am on firmware version v2.7.0-beta.0.
