New page for 6.3

  • Create a new article for the Navigation details inside the Site Editor sidebar
  • Make sure the URL slug under Permalink is: site-editor-navigation

Update for 6.3

  • Allow renaming, duplication and deleting of Navigation menus from Browse Mode Sidebar. 50880
  • Show actions for empty menus in Navigation on Browse mode 51420
  • Handle empty menus in Navigation Browse Mode 50870
  • browse mode list all Navigation Menus 50840
  • remove all edit functionality in Browse Mode 50788
  • Refer to this PR for more details
  • Navigation Sidebar: Change the logic about which navigation gets selected for the sidebar 48689
  • Add focus mode for Navigation Menus 39286

General

  • Make sure all screenshots are relevant to the latest version
  • Make sure videos, if any, are up to date
  • Add ALT tags for the images
  • Make sure the headings are in sentence case
  • Convert all reusable blocks to a ‘regular block’.
  • Update the changelog at the end of the article

Notes

  1. We are not adding detailed updates for the Block settings - Typography, Color, Layout, Dimension and Border and for the More Options setting in the block toolbar. Pls mention the settings included for the block and link to the detailed settings pages instead.
  2. Some of the PRs have great videos that can be added to the article.

Apologies for the confusion. I noticed that we needed to have this article ready in order to add a link to it in the Site Editor article so I went ahead and drafted it myself, I think it is ready for review:
