Vetting Checklist for SMEs

  • Priority: low for end users, medium for devs/agencies.
  • Feedback regarding the topic description: I'd target agencies and enterprise more explicitly. That's where this is going to come up more often and where folks are already doing things to work around the current limitations.
  • Feedback regarding the learning objectives: I'd talk about a few different approaches rather than just one and make it more general.
  • Any other feedback: this is a big topic for agencies and devs but not necessarily end users. Hence my priority ranking.

I want to note that Tammie Lister and Fabian Kägy would be good to chat with on this front as I've spoken to both of them about mega menus in the past in their agency work. It might also be worth seeing what a plugin like this does https://github.com/motopress/getwid-megamenu For context on limitations, please check out this issue: WordPress/gutenberg#23745
