The idea was to use colors/hues for different contexts, I believe the more it's repeated within an interface the more intuitive it can become. E.g. posts typically use a lot more template structure so it make sense to be aware of the difference somehow. Dedicated section components for posts and pages would be cool, for better UI composability and as the logical alternative to template-parts which can also have patterns. Just calling eveything pattern is confusing af imo. |

I've seen some posts about site editor and admin 2.0 integration, and here are some ideas from other "new school" business oriented page builders that are known to be well designed and easy to use:
I think a combination of those two could be great (ignore the funnel logic in the second image and think of the slots below the link heading as slots for template parts and section block patterns), where users can build out their pages with patterns in a zoomed out high-level view while having an overview of the pages on their site.
