Categories Block: Add More Options

What problem does this address?

It is frustrating to use the categories block because there are a lot of options needed.

What is your proposed solution?

Add a Sort Function
Allow users to sort the order in how the categories are displayed. With options such as:

• Alphabetical Order Accending
• Alphabetical Order Descending
• Number of Posts Acending
• Number of Posts Descending

Add a Taxonomy Selector
Add the ability to select a different taxonomy like tags or custom ones from plugins.

Ability to Transform Categories Block to Tag Cloud

It would be good to have an option in the Block Settings to show the Category hierarchy visually with indentation, instead of showing a single list with categories and subcategories together.
