Description

When adding Preformatted or Verse blocks on Android, multiple lines of text overlap one another due to incorrect line heights. This issue may only be present for block themes, or merely more prevalent due to custom style/typography support.

Step-by-step reproduction instructions

  1. Add a Preformatted or Verse block.
  2. Add multiple lines of text using the return key.

Expected behaviour

Lines of text do not overlap.

Actual behaviour

Lines of text overlap.

  • WordPress version: 6.1.1
  • Gutenberg version: 14.9.1
  • Are all plugins except Gutenberg deactivated? Yes

  • Operating system: Android 12
  • WordPress app version: 21.5
