I have an old character that I'd like to use on a new world, this character has already "beaten" the game by killing all 5 bosses, and when starting a new world with a few mods (specifically, Passive Forsaken Powers) it seems to hook into the character's data for mob/boss kills to give the passive abilities which has kind of ruined my plan for re-using this character on the new world.

That is an interesting request. I will take a look at seeing what can be done for you. I can't remember if it uses the boss kill counts or some other mechanism to list which abilities you have unlocked to be honest, but whatever it is I am sure we can figure something out and add an 'Abilities' or 'Bosses' tab or something to let users modify this if they want to revert to having never defeated one or many bosses for replaying.
Saw this and wanted to comment. I'm actually interested in editing which biomes my character has discovered and I thought it might be similar to this request.
