Run with solar power #31
Comments
Without making an additional board for the raw solar panel, you run the risk of frying your board. You could put the Lilygo T-Bat in between a raw solar panel and the T-OI, or you could find a simple solar panel with a USB output. I'd say the latter is the easier option. |

Hi all
I want to run this board using a little solar panel, and I'm wondering what panel is appropriate, and where to wire it in? Could someone with more know-how please guide me? Thanks!
I think, because the board already does voltage management to the battery for charging, I could perhaps add the panel to the usb-c input - Assuming the panel outputs >4v
