It's superfast, and long term we may want to drop swscale.

The libyuv codec is missing from the latest centos7 beta packages.

The libyuv package was missing the libyuv.pc pkgconfig file, r20980 fixes that.
I have created a Fedora ticket for that: bug 1649246: libyuv package should include a pkgconfig file.

My patch has been merged for Fedora 30: [https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=1247155] (the pkgconfig file is now included)

Yay for comment:5, except... they haven't actually merged my patch but tried to re-implement it themselves and did it wrong, then pushed the package without testing it :(

And now our rawhide builds fail.

They have fixed this bug, but since they didn't take advantage of our packaging experience (..), now they're hitting another bug: /lib64/libyuv.so.0: undefined symbol: jpeg_resync_to_restart
